Cocktails are always an amazing combination to any part of your day. Especially when it is paired with some elegant partying. Here are the recipes of cocktails that we think will go perfectly with your evening of subtle shenanigans -
What you need:
Captain Morgan White Rum - 50ml
Lime Juice - 25ml.
Sweet Beetroot Juice - 25ml
Ice
Equipment:
Cocktail Shaker
Strainer
How you make it:
1. Take 400ml of beetroot juice and put the juice in a pan. You can either buy this ready-juiced or juice your own.
2. Add 400g of white caster sugar, heat gently & stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
3. Once the sugar is dissolved remove it from the heat, allow it to cool, and bottle it. The syrup will last for a couple of weeks if kept in the fridge.
4. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker, fill with cubed ice, and shake vigorously for 10-12 seconds.
5. Strain into a rocks glass over ice.
6. Garnish with a slice of beetroot or a slice of lime.
2. Frosted Rose
What you need:
Cîroc Vodka - 25ml.
Orange Juice - 25ml.
Pineapple Juice - 25ml
Cranberry Juice - 50ml
Equipment:
Martini glass, 1 x
Peg measure
How you make it:
1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes
2. Using a peg measure, measure 25ml Cîroc Vodka, 25ml orange juice, 25ml pineapple juice and 50ml cranberry juice into the shaker
3. Shake the mixture vigorously until the surface of the shaker feels chilled.
4. Using a cocktail strainer, strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass.
What you need:
Gordon's Sloe Gin - 50ml
Tonic Water - 125ml
Lime
Ice
Equipment:
Tall glass
Peg measure
Knife
Chopping Board
How you make it:
1. Pour Gordon's Sloe Gin and tonic into a tall glass filled with ice cubes.
2. Using a peg measure, measure 50ml of Gordon's Sloe Gin and pour it into a tall glass filled with ice cubes.
3. Top up with 125ml tonic
4. Using a chopping board and a sharp knife, cut a lime wedge for a garnish. Squeeze and drop into glass and serve.
