1. Basic Flip

This a simple technique every home bartender must know! Hold the bottle and a jigger or glass in each hand. Just hold the bottle by the neck and spin it before catching it. As you catch on, make sure the liquid will pour into the jigger or glass.

2. Ice Throwing

Hurl a few ice cubes into the air and catch them all at once in the cocktail shaker. You can simply master this move if you know juggling.

3. Bottle Stalls

This is one of the simplest bartending skills, this involves grasping and balancing a bottle straight on the back of your hand. To balance the hand must cushion the bottle's fall.

4. Flair Pouring



Pouring is the most systematic bartending skill to excel. Want to add some style to it? Go through the three flair-pouring styles that are easy to learn.!



(i) The long pour - pouring from a substantial height into a jigger and pausing it at the top and allowing the liquid to fall directly into the glass.

(ii) The reverse pour - hold and pour the liquid in such a way that it's poured in a reverse fashion

(iii) The cross pour -  using one hand to pour from two different bottles at different times.

5. Jigger Skills

Mixology is about having the correct amount of ingredients and mixing them up in a perfect way. It’s a fairly simple process, adding a bit of flair to this bartending skill could be way exciting! Here are a few techniques:



(i) The Neck Technique - grab the jigger at the skinny part of the vessel.

(ii) The Finger-Joint Flip - hold the jigger between the second and third joints on your finger and pour it.

(iii) Double-Up - grab a jigger between your thumb and index finger and another between the index and middle finger and roll.
