WITH Easter Sunday here, it's the perfect opportunity to gather loved ones for a festive lunch filled with good food and drinks. While you're planning your Easter menu, you should also consider the drinks that complement the meal and add a touch of flair when you and your guests toast to good health and happiness.

60 ml Brandy
20 ml Simple syrup
1 Egg
Grated nutmeg for garnish

Method:
Add brandy, simple syrup and a cracked egg into a cocktail shaker with ice. Give it a good shake to emulsify the egg and alcohol.
Then give this mixture a dry shake and strain into a coupe glass.
Garnish with a dusting of nutmeg.
Bloody Mary
Ingredients:
120 ml Tomato juice (fresh or store bought)
60 ml Vodka
A pinch of salt and freshly cracked pepper
3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
4 dashes Hot sauce
Celery stalk or olives for garnish
Celery salt or regular salt mixed with some chili powder for the glass rim

Method:
Pour the salt onto a plate. Rub the rim of the Collins glass with a lime wedge, then invert the glass and dip it in the salt. Set aside.
In a cocktail shaker, combine ice, tomato juice, vodka, salt and pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Vigorously shake till the cocktail is completely chilled.
Strain into the prepared glass and serve with a celery stick garnish.
White Rabbit
Ingredients:
60 ml Gin
50 ml Amaretto
50 ml Double cream
1 tsp Lemon juice
½ tsp Vanilla extract
Edible flowers for garnish
Equipment:
Cocktail shaker
Coupe glass
Ice

Method:
Add all of the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice, and shake for about 15 to 20 seconds.
Pour into chilled coupe glasses and garnish with edible flowers.
Orange Bellinis
Ingredients:
60 ml Fresh orange juice
15 ml Orange liqueur
Chilled Prosecco, Champagne or sparkling white wine
Mint sprigs for garnish

Champagne flute

Method:
Add the orange juice and orange liqueur in a mixing glass, and stir well. Transfer to a chilled champagne flute.
Top this up with a generous splash of chilled Prosecco, Champagne, or any sparkling white wine.
Garnish with mint sprigs and serve.
Sgroppino
Ingredients:
2-3 heaping tsp of lemon sorbet
30 ml Vodka
Champagne
Equipment:
Champagne flute
Method:
Add the lemon sorbet to the bottom of the champagne flute, followed by 30 ml of vodka. You can adjust the quantity according to your taste.
Finally, top this with Champagne. You can also use Prosecco or any sparkling white wine.
Chocolate Orange Espresso Martini
Ingredients:
30 ml Vodka
30 ml Creme de cacao
30 ml Coffee liqueur
1 shot Freshly brewed espresso
Orange slice for garnish
Equipment:
Chilled coupe glass
Cocktail shaker
Jigger
Method:
Shake all ingredients with ice, till the mixture is completely chilled.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Add an orange slice to the rim for garnish.
