Craft cocktails gained momentum in the early 2000s as connoisseurs demanded better quality, handcrafted drinks. This also led to the beginning of specialty cocktail bars and trendy speakeasies. Easy access to cocktail recipe books helped refine this craft. Today, craft cocktails are a huge facet of the mixology world, showing the significance of craftsmanship, fresh ingredients and innovative recipes.
