  • Johnnie Walker® Platinum Blended Scotch Whisky
    0.25oz
  • Johnnie Walker® Blue Label® Blended Scotch Whisky
    1.5oz
  • Pear Oak Bitters dash
    1dash
  • Lillet Blanc
    0.75oz
  • Rosemary sprig twist dash
    1
  • Spruce sprig twist dash
    1
  • Hickory Chips
    3pinches

2.5 units of alcohol per serving

Equipment

  • 1 x Short glass  
  • 1 x Strainer
  • 1 x Bar spoon
  • 1 x Shaker
  • 1 x Ice

Method

1. Pour

Using a jigger, measure 1 dash pear oak bitters, 20ml Lillet Blanc, 10ml Johnnie Walker Platinum Label Whisky, and 45ml Johnnie Walker Blue Label Whisky into a cocktail shaker.

2. Mix

Add cubes of ice to the shaker and stir thoroughly using a bar spoon until well combined. Strain with a cocktail strainer into a tumbler.

3. Garnish

Fill a small bowl with a sprig of spruce, a sprig of rosemary and a handful of hickory chips, and set alight with a match or blowtorch. Present alongside the tumbler containing the drink.

Get some grub in before or while you’re drinking – it slows alcohol absorption.
