Black & White Blended Scotch Whisky

Taste
With vanilla extract, crème anglaise custard, peat smoke, crushed pecan
Aroma
Some sour citrus, with sharp grain and biscuits, and a touch of peat.
Palate
Grain sweetness with bits of vanilla, caramel and cinnamon. Not the most complex whisky.
Finish
Short, with a caramel sweetness.
Black Cumin Seed and Honey Old Fashioned
What you need:
50ml Black & White Scotch
15ml Reserved Black Cumin Honey (40g Black Cumin, 100g Honey)
Orange peel and a pinch of Black cumin to garnish
How to make it:
Place black cumin in dry pan and toast the seeds in high heat for 30-60 seconds. Lower the heat and add Honey with 100ml water.
Bring to simmer and leave on low heat for 30 mins, stirring regularly.
Remove from stove and strain the mixture twice using a fine mesh sieve to remove residue and discard the cumin. Chill in fridge.
Fill cocktail shaker with ice, scotch and the reserved cool black cumin seed & honey. Stir 30 times, pour into a tumbler and garnish with orange peel and a pinch of black cumin.
The Story of the 2 Terriers
Meet Westie & Scottie – the signature pair of terriers. The story goes that as the renowned whisky Baron James Buchanan had gone to see a Dog Show and returned with the photograph of the champion terriers in his pocket. His imagination fired and he brought to life these charming characters.
One dog was black (Scottie) the other was white (Westie). One Scottish, playful, and mischievous, and the other a West Highland with a warm and friendly nature.
Together this pair of lovable terriers were widely used in advertising before they appeared on the label of the best-selling Black & White.
