Talisker 10 Year Old single malt Scotch Whisky has a famously rich and powerful peat-smoke flavour, with a warm peppery finish. The peaty, smoky flavour comes from the peat burned during the malting process and carries on it the salted smoke of an island battered by wind and waves.

Double-distilled giving it a rich, deep character, embodying the maritime characteristics of a coastal whisky and then aged for a minimum of 10 years in American oak casks.

Nose
Whiffs of warm peat and coastal air.
Palate
Rich, powerful peat-smoke flavour.
Finish
Long finish, with a peppery taste at the back of the mouth.

What you need:
50ml Talisker
25ml Lime juice
1 egg white
15ml sugar syrup
2 fresh fennel tips
How to make it:
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake to mix.
Strain into an Old Fashioned glass. Garnish with fennel tips and serve.
