This variation of the hot chocolate is a decadent drink that balances rich flavours and creamy textures. Highlighting the smooth blend of cocoa and Baileys Irish cream, the cocktail recipe is appropriate for those who prefer dessert cocktails – best served with a dollop of whipped cream.
30 ml Baileys Irish cream liqueur 80 ml milk 1 teaspoon hot chocolate powder 1 scoop whipped cream, for garnish Chocolate shavings, for garnish
In a saucepan, pour the milk and add the hot chocolate powder to simmer for 4-5 minutes.
Once the mixture is ready, pour into a glass and then add the Irish cream.
Top up the creamy cocktail with whipped and chocolate shavings.
Use fresh whipped cream and dark chocolate shavings for the best flavour.
