The pomegranate mojito mocktail is best described as structure meeting freshness — pulled apart mint to release natural oils, lime pressed for zesty tang and pomegranate juice to add body. For amateur bartenders, this drink presents simplistic technique — easy steps and ingredients that come together perfectly.
½ cup pomegranate juice 8 fresh mint leaves ½ lime, cut into wedges 1 tablespoon honey syrup/simple syrup ½ cup soda water Ice cubes
Muddle mint leaves and lime wedges in a shaker to release flavour without bruising them, for even extraction.
Add the pomegranate juice and honey syrup, allowing sweetness to mix with citrus and herbal notes for an even mixture.
Add ice cubes and shake vigorously, chilling the mixture and allowing all flavours to mix without making the blend cloudy.
Strain the mixture over fresh ice, avoiding muddled bits to mix into the drink while keeping the texture smooth.
Top up with soda water and stir gently, allowing bubbles to rise and bring flavours together while maintaining structure.
Garnish with a sprig of mint and pomegranate arils, for aroma and appearance.
