A cocktail that combines Indian and Mexican flavours in an easy and seamless blend, the spicy margarita version with cucumber and jaljeera is made using a simple process. The spiced water of cumin and other tangy elements complement the clean taste of fresh cucumber juice and tequila.

Ingredients (Serves 1)

30 ml tequila 40 ml cucumber juice 70 ml jaljeera 10 ml lime juice ½ teaspoon black salt ¼ teaspoon roasted cumin powder Ice cubes, as needed

Step 1

Combine the cucumber juice with prepared jaljeera water, black salt and cumin powder.

Rim a serving glass with a coat of lime juice, rim with black salt and add ice cubes inside.

In a shaker, pour the jaljeera mix and tequila along with some more lime juice, black salt and roasted cumin powder.

Shake for 15 seconds to combine flavours evenly and cool the beverage until it reaches the desired temperature.
