Ingredients

- 60 ml Johnnie Walker Black Label Blended Scotch Whisky

- 30 ml fresh lemon juice

- 15 ml simple syrup

- Ice

- Lemon slice and cherry for garnish



Method

- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

- Add Johnnie Walker Black Label Blended Scotch Whisky, lemon juice, and simple syrup.

- Shake well and strain into a rock glass filled with ice.

- Garnish with a lemon slice and cherry.



2. Tropical Gin Punch



Ingredients

- 50 ml Tanqueray No. Ten Gin

- 30 ml Fresh Pineapple Juice

- 30 ml Fresh Orange Juice

- 15 ml Coconut Cream

- 15 ml Simple Syrup (1:1 sugar and water)

- Ice cubes

- Pineapple slice and cherry, for garnish



Method

- Fill a shaker with ice.

- Add the Tanqueray No. Ten gin, pineapple juice, orange juice, coconut cream, and simple syrup.

- Shake well to combine.

- Strain into a glass filled with ice.

- Garnish with a pineapple slice and cherry.

Game Night Food Pairings

1. Loaded Nachos



For a gratifying and decadent game night snack, serve your Whisky Sour alongside a platter of Loaded Nachos. A delicious treat is produced by combining crunchy tortilla chips, melted cheese, savoury toppings, and a drizzle of sour cream.



Ingredients

- 200g tortilla chips

- 150g shredded cheddar cheese

- 150g ground chicken or black beans for a vegetarian option

- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes

- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños

- 1/4 cup sliced black olives

- Sour cream and guacamole, for dipping



Method

- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

- Arrange the tortilla chips on an ovenproof platter or baking sheet.

- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the chips.

- If using ground chicken, cook and crumble it in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.

- Distribute the cooked chicken (or black beans) over the cheese-covered chips.

- Sprinkle diced tomatoes, sliced jalapeños, and sliced black olives on top.

- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Method

- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.

- Add your choice of pizza toppings.
