Combining Scotch whisky with honey, lemon and hot water, it’s a drink long associated with slow evenings and colder nights. This version with Haig Club keeps things smooth, balancing gentle sweetness with bright citrus and soft whisky character for a simple twist on a timeless classic.

- Cloudy apple juice4oz
- Honey1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon stick0oz
- Grated ginger1 teaspoon
- Lemon0oz
- Ground nutmegA sprinkle!
2 units of alcohol per serving
Equipment
- Pan
- Strainer
- Latte Mug
- Jigger
- Peeler
- Wooden Spoon
Method
Step 1
Add everything except the Haig Club to a pan and bring to a simmer.
Step 2
Reduce the temperature but continue warming for 10-15 minutes allowing the flavors to combine.
Step 3
Add Haig Club, stir and then strain the mixture into a glass latte mug and garnish with the lemon peel.
