7 Fig-Infused Cocktails: Adding Autumnal Flavour To Your Beverages
As autumn returns, so do drinks that reflect the season’s flavours, carrying fruits and other things that grow during the season. Fig is one such typical fall flavour as fig-infused cocktails have a balance of richness meshed with sweet, earthy undertones. Cocktails, featuring figs—whether fresh or dried—add depth and a complexity of flavour to drinks.
Their inherent sweetness reduces the need for additional sugar or syrups in your drink. Figs also complement both light and dark spirits, making them a versatile option for various cocktail recipes.
The process of infusing alcohol with figs involves allowing the fruit to steep in the spirit of your choice for anywhere between 3-7 days (depending on the intensity of flavour that you’re going for).
