240 g hung curd
30 g powdered sugar
90 g dark chocolate
1 g cardamom powder
45 ml fresh cream
1 g salt
25 ml Bailey’s Irish Whisky Cream
Method:
Making hung curd, which gives the dessert its creamy texture, is the first step in the recipe. To do this, 240 g of curd is wrapped in muslin fabric and left to drain the excess water overnight with pressure. This stage is crucial since it thickens and makes the curd smooth, which contributes to the dessert's richness. When it's ready, the hung curd is moved to a bowl and used as the dish's foundation.
30 g of powdered sugar, 1 g of cardamom powder, and 1 g of salt are added to the curd to give sweetness and flavour. Cardamom adds a subtle spice that balances the richness of the chocolate, and the sugar readily blends in to make the combination smooth. All ingredients are mixed until the mixture is lump-free and creamy.
