Plum

Let’s kick things off with the often underrated plum. Sweet, tart, and downright delicious, this fruit is a cocktail star in the making.

Plum Gin Smash

Muddle two ripe plums (pitted and chopped) with 15 ml of honey syrup in a shaker. Add 45 ml of gin, 20 ml of fresh lime juice and a handful of ice. Shake it like you mean it and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. 

Garnish with a slice of plum and a sprig of basil. 

This drink is like a sweet summer kiss, perfect for those moody monsoon afternoons

Jamun 

Jamun, or Indian blackberry, has a unique tangy flavour that makes it a cocktail lover’s dream.

Jamun Collins

In a shaker, muddle a handful of fresh jamuns (pitted), a few mint leaves, and 15 ml of simple syrup. Add 45 ml of gin, 25 ml of lemon juice, and ice. Shake well and strain into a tall glass filled with ice. 

Top with soda water and garnish with a couple of whole jamuns and a mint sprig. 

This drink is tangy, refreshing, and just what you need to jazz up your monsoon evenings.

Litchi 

Litchis are the pearls of the fruit world: sweet, juicy and oh-so-elegant. Perfect for a cocktail that screams ‘fon-say’.

Litchi Spritz

In a shaker, combine 45 ml of vodka, 30 ml of litchi juice, and 10 ml of elderflower liqueur. Add ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a champagne flute and top with prosecco. 

Garnish with a litchi on a skewer. 

This spritz is light, floral and the ultimate in classy sipping.

Mango 

Nothing says tropical like mangoes. These golden beauties bring a burst of sunshine to any cocktail (or life, if we’re being honest).

Mango Mojito

Blend 1 ripe mango (peeled and diced) with 45 ml of white rum, 20 ml of fresh lime juice, and a handful of mint leaves. Add ice and blend until smooth. 

Pour into a tall glass and top with a splash of soda water. Garnish with a mint sprig and a slice of mango. 

This mojito is sweet, refreshing, and basically a vacation in a glass.

Peach 

Peaches are juicy, fragrant and perfect for whipping up cocktails that taste like summer—even in the middle of the monsoon.

Peach Bourbon Lemonade

Muddle 1 ripe peach (pitted and sliced) with 15 ml of simple syrup in a shaker. Add 45 ml of bourbon, 25 ml of fresh lemon juice and ice. 

Shake well and strain into a mason jar filled with ice. Top with a splash of lemonade and garnish with a peach slice and a lemon wheel. 

This drink is sweet, tangy, and just the right amount of boozy.
