August's expert tip is to serve a greatly underrated drink: the French Martini Cocktail. Simplicity is key, and with just three ingredients it’s a breeze to recreate at home. Combine in a shaker 30ml vodka, 30ml raspberry liqueur and 40ml pineapple juice (as fresh as you can get), then add ice, shake and strain out into a martini cocktail glass. The shaken pineapple juice should create a frothy top that does not need a garnish, but you can skewer a few raspberries with a cocktail stick and place this gently over the glass if you prefer.
