Cosmopolitan cocktail, also known as cosmos. This cocktail, on its own, has an easy and basic recipe using citrus-flavoured vodka. Served in a cocktail glass or a martini cocktail glass, it is originally classified as a type of martini cocktail.  

Cosmopolitan cocktail is one of the members of the Gimlet family of cocktails. It is interesting to know that the origin of cosmopolitan cocktails has long been traced to 1970s Provincetown, Cleveland, Minneapolis and San Francisco. It was further re-introduced in 1989 in New York City. Moscow mule is a simple cocktail made with vodka, ginger beer, and lime juice garnished with a lime and spring of mint. The cocktail is served in a copper mug, which gives it a unique presentation. Moscow mule is classified as a type of buck, also known as vodka buck. Moscow mule is regularly combined with different cocktails and has more than 20 + variations, which are popular worldwide. Moscow mule has no specific origin, and there are many claims. Regardless, many enthusiasts consider it a very straightforward cocktail that is combination friendly.

How To Make A Cosmo Mule? 

Cosmo Mule requires very few ingredients because both the cosmopolitan cocktail and original Moscow mule recipes are made with fewer ingredients. Both cocktails have vodka and it is common in this recipe but can be replaced with tequila, gin, or rum as an alternative. To prepare the drink for a small batch of people (4-5 head counts), you will need 120 ml of ginger beer along with 30 ml of cranberry juice, 15 ml of lime juice with 60 ml of vodka, and 30 ml of triple sec  

You must mix all the ingredients and chill the cocktail glassware of choice beforehand. After mixing the ingredients accurately, you must use a shaker to get the perfect flavour. Strain the cocktail and then use ginger beer. You can simply garnish the cocktail with some lemon wedge or lime wheel.

Cosmo mule with a Moscow mule twist can be served in different cocktail glassware according to your preference because it combines two cocktails. You can use a cocktail highball glass for a more modern look. Or you can go with the Moscow mule look, opting for copper glassware.
