When a flavoured vodka bottle is sealed, it has the same shelf life as a sealed and unflavoured vodka bottle. This timeline is approximately 30 to 50 years. However, when the seal is broken, the flavoured vodka begins to lose its taste and flavour due to the presence of natural sugars and flavourings. Therefore, it is advisable to consume the unsealed flavoured vodka within 3 months to 2 years after opening. The scientific reason behind this degradation is that when the seal of a flavoured vodka bottle is opened, its contents become activated, and the alcohol in it gets oxidised.
