Cherry Sazerac
A fascinating libation steeped in history, this cherry variation of the Sazerac blends smooth whisky with tart cherry juice and bitters. In addition to this, the herbal and licorice profile from ‘rinsing’ the glass elevates the flavour of the cocktail further.

Method
- Pour the Absinthe in a chilled cocktail glass and swirl the liquor to coat the inside of the glass, before discarding the excess.
- In a shaker filled with ice, add the scotch whisky, brandy, cherry juice and bitters.
- Shake the mixture vigorously until it is well combined and chilled.
- Strain the liquid into the coated cocktail serving glass and finish off with a lemon peel and Maraschino cherry before serving.
