Equal parts tart and sweet, with a touch of effervescence - this gin-based cocktail gets a seasonal spin with the addition of pomegranate. Made with Tanqueray No 10 gin, this vibrant red drink is a well-balanced interplay of flavour - allowing the botanical notes from the liquor to be spotlighted with the use of fresh ingredients.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add in the gin, pomegranate-lime syrup and lime juice in.
Shake the contents vigorously until the ingredients are well combined.
Strain the mixture into a champagne flute and top up with sparkling wine.
Garnish with a few pomegranate seeds and lime twist before serving.
