Begin by preparing the sugar-rimmed glass. In a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder, and some edible gold powder. Mix the ingredients thoroughly to ensure that they are well combined. Once mixed, pour the powder onto a plate.

Take the cocktail glass and roll its rim over the sugar mixture on the plate, ensuring that the sugar mixture sticks to the rim. This step is essential as it adds a touch of sweetness and richness to the cocktail.

Prepare the vodka cream by grabbing a frozen bowl and adding 100ml of double cream, half a tablespoon of caster sugar, and 15ml of Smirnoff No 21 Vodka to it. Whisk the contents of the bowl until they form a smooth paste. 

Get a mason jar and add some ice cubes to it. Then, measure and pour 70ml of chilled hot chocolate into the jar, followed by 50ml of single cream. Add two teaspoons of chocolate hazelnut spread into the jar to give the cocktail a rich, nutty flavour.

Measure and pour 70ml of Smirnoff No 21 vodka into the mason jar and close the lid. Shake the contents of the jar until they are well mixed and chilled. Now, pour the mixture into the sugar-rimmed glass that you prepared earlier. 

To give the cocktail an extra boost of flavour, scoop a generous amount of the prepared vodka cream and place it on top of the cocktail. 

Finally, sprinkle some of the sugar mixtures on top of the cream and place a gold leaf on top of the cocktail to garnish it.
