For a fresh, fragrant long drink, this sour-sweet variation on the traditional Julep adds honey to balance the sour-sweet grapefruit and the usual mint garnish.
Add 4 mint leaves to a cocktail shaker. Using a muddler press down on the leaves to extract the flavour and juices. Add crushed ice to the shaker
Using a peg measure, pour 50ml Ketel One Vodka, 50ml pink grapefruit juice, 5ml honey, 10ml lime juice and 5ml grenadine into the shaker
Shake the mixture vigorously using the cocktail shaker until the surface of the shaker feels cold
Strain the mixture using a fine strainer into a tall glass
Place a small sprig of mint on top of the drink to garnish.
