Method

Grab a cocktail glass and coat the rim of your cocktail glass with sugar. This can be achieved by running a lemon or lime wedge around the rim of the glass and then dipping the rim into a small dish of sugar. Set the glass aside until the cocktail is ready to be poured.

Fill the cocktail shaker with ice, being sure to leave enough room for the ingredients to be added later.

Measure out 45 ml of Smirnoff vodka, 15 ml of triple sec, 15 ml of lime juice, and 15 ml of simple syrup, then pour these ingredients into the cocktail shaker on top of the ice.

To blend the ingredients and achieve the perfect temperature, shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds until the shaker feels frosty on the outside. This will ensure that the ingredients are well-combined and that the cocktail is well-chilled.

Strain the mixture from the shaker through a cocktail strainer into the prepared cocktail glass.
