The Gin Sunrise cocktail is a vibrant, citrus-forward beverage that is a take on the original but with a botanical twist. Using Tanqueray No. 10 Gin as its base, it adds a crisp, juniper-driven backbone to an otherwise fruity affair - traditionally served in a highball or Collins glass with lots of ice to maintain its vivid, layered appearance.
Fill a tall glass with ice to keep the drink chilled without diluting too rapidly.
To preserve the vivid, natural citrus flavour, pour in the gin first followed by fresh orange juice.
To produce the sunrise gradient, slowly pour grenadine syrup down the edge of the glass or over the back of a spoon and allow it to settle at the bottom.
Garnish with a fresh orange slice for a citrusy scent and a vibrant, appealing finish.
