Method

To begin this cocktail recipe, prepare your cocktail serving glass. You can opt for a rocks glass which is perfect for this tequila cocktail. It has a sturdy base and a wide mouth. You can appreciate the appeal of the cocktail, and it also helps in perceiving the aromas easily. Pour some ground turmeric and salt on a plate. Moisten the rim of the rock glass by running a wedge of lime over it. Dip the rim onto the turmeric-salt mixture to coat it on the edges. Add some ice to the glass and set it aside

Grab a cocktail shaker and add a tablespoon of turmeric (ground) and 22.5ml of ginger-honey syrup.

Next, measure and pour 45ml of Don Julio Blanco tequila and 22.5ml of freshly squeezed lime juice. Ensure that you are using measuring tools like a jigger or a measuring cup. This will help in using the right quantity of ingredients which is crucial for a well-balanced and flavourful cocktail.

Fill the shaker with ice.

Shake the ingredients vigorously to combine. Shake until the surface of the shaker feels chilled. 

Using a cocktail strainer, strain the mixture into the prepared rocks glass over fresh ice. 

Garnish with a wheel of lime on top and serve!
