Over the years this cocktail has evolved with eggs added to the mix. Today there are multiple variations of this delectable cocktail.

In this recipe, the classic eggnog cocktail gets a Baileys twist. This is an indulgent and simple serve that you can easily make at home. The mouth-watering combination of Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur, egg, milk, and a pinch of nutmeg is a must-try.

Ingredients

  • Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur - 35ml

  • Vanilla Pod - 1 split

Method

Grab a large mixing bowl and combine one egg and a tablespoon of caster sugar. Whisk it until it turns creamy and the sugar begins to dissolve. 

Measure and pour 35ml of Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur, and 75ml milk into the mixing bowl.

Next, add the seeds from a vanilla pod, scraped out with a teaspoon to the mixing bowl. 

Using a grater, grate the sides of the whole nutmeg into the bowl. 

Strain the mixture into a cognac glass.

Garnish with a cinnamon stick and serve!
