Method

    To completely cool the martini cocktail glass or coupe glass, place it in the freezer or fill with ice water.

    In a cocktail shaker, blend the Irish cream liqueur, vodka, cold espresso and chocolate syrup (if using).

    Fill the shaker with ice and shake rapidly for 15-20 seconds, or until the outside is totally frosted, ensuring the drink is ideally frothy.

    Discard the ice from the cold glass and fine pour the creamy liquid into the prepared glass. Garnish with chocolate shavings and serve immediately.
