Method

Grab a cocktail shaker and fill it with ice. Ice is an essential aspect of cocktail mixing as it helps in diluting and chilling the ingredients. It also helps in enhancing the overall flavour profile of the cocktail.

Next, using a cocktail jigger or a measuring cup, measure and pour 40ml of Smirnoff No.21 Vodka, 20ml of coffee liqueur, 30ml of espresso, and 15ml of simple syrup into the shaker. Using the measuring tools is essential to ensure that the right quantities of the ingredients are used. This helps in maintaining the right balance of flavours.

Shake the ingredients vigorously to combine. Shake until the surface of the cocktail shaker feels chilled. 

Using a cocktail strainer, strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass. This will remove any unwanted pieces of ice or impurities resulting in a smooth and flavourful drink.

Finally, garnish the Espresso Martini cocktail with a few coffee beans. Using a plating tong gently place the coffee beans on top of the drink for an elegant garnish.
