Sugar cookie syrup is a delightful concoction that elevates the classic sugar cookie experience to new heights. Crafted with a simple blend of sugar and water, this versatile syrup serves as a sweet and customizable companion to an array of treats. The normal sugar cookie syrup comes in vanilla flavour. Tap to know the DIY recipe for it:
1 cup granulated sugar 1 cup water 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a small saucepan, combine the granulated sugar and water over medium heat.
Stir the mixture continuously until the sugar is completely dissolved. This will create a simple syrup base.
Once the sugar has dissolved, bring the mixture to a gentle boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the syrup to thicken slightly.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
Stir in the vanilla extract, ensuring it is evenly distributed throughout the syrup.
Allow the sugar cookie syrup to cool to room temperature before transferring it to a storage container.
Once cooled, the syrup can be drizzled over sugar cookies, pancakes, waffles, ice cream, or any other treat of your choice.
