Method

Grab a cocktail shaker and fill it with ice. Ice is an essential aspect of cocktail mixing as it helps in chilling and diluting the ingredients. It also aids in enhancing and balancing the flavours of the drink.

Using a cocktail jigger or a measuring cup, measure and pour 45ml of Tanqueray London Dry gin, 30ml of freshly squeezed lime juice and 15ml of simple syrup into the shaker. Using suitable measuring tools ensures that you use the right quantities of the ingredients and craft a well-balanced cocktail. 

Shake the ingredients vigorously until the surface of the shaker feels chilled.

Using a cocktail strainer, strain the mixture into a chilled champagne flute.

Top up the drink with champagne or sparkling wine. 

Twist a lemon peel ove the drink to release its essential oils and use it as a garnish.
