The Cîroc & Peppered Strawberry cocktail transforms the classic martini cocktail into a fruity, spice-laced variation. Unlike the classic’s dry, spirit-forward style, this version is a lively drink made with luscious strawberry pulp and fresh lemonade. The vodka creates a neutral canvas and mild pepper adds a sensory layer. Its light flavour makes for a brunch-appropriate summer beverage and provides a distinctively fresh, fruity sip.
To chill the martini cocktail or coupe glass, place it in the freezer or fill it with ice water and set aside.
In a cocktail shaker, combine the sliced strawberries and a pinch of freshly ground black pepper; gently muddle to release the juices and scent.
Pour the vodka and lemonade into the shaker before filling the shaker with fresh ice cubes and shaking rapidly for 15-20 seconds, or until the outside of the shaker is well-frosted and the drink, thoroughly chilled and frothy.
Remove the ice from the serving glass and fine-strain the liquid, possibly garnishing with a fresh strawberry slice and serving immediately.
